Della Inez Wilkerson

Della Inez Brown Wilkerson was born October 31st, 1930 in Hardin County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Luther and Frankie Brown.

Della went to be with the Lord on Monday, at 12:22 am on January 29th, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, William B. Wilkerson;  siblings, Lillie Wilkerson, Hobert Brown, Ruby Mitchell, Joan Talley and 2 brothers that died at birth.

She is survived by four children, Paul Hollins of Savannah, Reba Love of Savannah, Allen Wilkerson of Crump and Rex Wilkerson of Savannah. Also, 6 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She left behind a host of nieces and nephews. Her friends and acquaintances were too numerous to count for she never saw a stranger.

She was a Christian woman who loved to read her bible and worship the Lord. She resided at Hardin Home Nursing Home for the last few years and was proud to call it home. She attended regularly scheduled gospel singing and church services. She also loved to play Bingo with the other residents. The thing she enjoyed most was the visits from her family and friends.
