Delta Jean Davis

Services will be held on Friday, September 30, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home, in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Harold Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Worley Cemetery, Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.



Visitation will be on Thursday, September 29, 5:00-9:00 pm and on Friday, September 30, 8:00 am until service time @ Shackelford Funeral Home, Waynesboro.



Mrs. Delta Jean Davis departed this life on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 74 Years, 10 Months, 14 Days. She was born November 13, 1936 in Wayne County, Tennessee the daughter of the late Arnold Davis and Tennie Pearl Davis Matlock. In addition to her parents, Mrs Davis was preceded in death by son, Wayne Davis; brothers, Edsel Davis and Austin Davis; sister, Nadine Davis.



Mrs. Delta was retired factory worker from Genesco . She was a member of the Waynesboro Church of God , Waynesboro, Tennessee.



She is survived by her husband Eunice Davis of Waynesboro, TN; son, Walter Eunice Davis and wife Teresa of Clifton, TN; brother, Jerry Davis and wife Betty of Waynesboro, TN;

grandchildren; Jeremy Davis; Coty Davis and Mathew Davis

great grandchildren; Kaytlen Davis and Pearl Davis

nieces and nephews.
