Dennie Hugh Robison

Dennie Hugh Robison, was born May 30, 1936 in McNairy County, Tn the son of the late William Harrison and Emma Molene Webster Robison. He attended School in Finger. He served in the US Navy during the Korean War. He was united in marriage to Ruby Stansell on June 2, 1956 in Corinth, Ms. Dennie was employed at Ducks Carpet in Jackson and Memphis Tennessee retiring when the store in Memphis closed. He later worked at Deaton Carpet One in Jackson. Dennie and Ruby moved back to Henderson in 2011 and had recently moved to Union City to be near their son Dennis. Dennie was a member of Estes church of Christ.

Mr. Robison departed this life on August 23, 2015 in at the age of 79 Years, 2 Months, 24 Days at the Baptist Hospital in Union City.

He is survived by his wife Ruby (Stansell) Robison of Troy, TN;a daughter, Denise Smith and husband Ron of Cordova, Tn; two sons, Dennis Robison of Troy, Tn, Richard Robison of Cordova, Tn; two sisters, Marie Smith of Union CityTn; Kate Sanford (Paul)of Troy, Tn; two brothers, Bobby Robison (Inetha) of Finger, Tn, Ray (Bub) Robison ( Martha Ann) of Fruitland, Tn and three granddaughters, Tara Tinkle (Jordan) of Murfreesboro, Tn, Mikayla Robison of Troy, TN, Chloe Robison of Cordova, Tn.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Robison was preceded in death by two sisters, Irene Myers and JoLee Mayfield ;two brothers, Hayes Robison and Sam Robison.

Services will be held on August 25, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors-Johnson Chapel in Henderson, Tennessee, with Jesse Robertson officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Estes Cemetery at Henderson, Tennessee
