Dennis Ray Daniel, age 68, of Collinwood, Tennessee, was born on July 17, 1958, in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, the son of the late Harlan Ray Daniel and Corene Holt.

Dennis was united in marriage to Linda Thigpen Daniel, and together they shared 51 wonderful years of love, devotion, and companionship. Throughout their life together, they created countless cherished memories, enjoyed many adventures, and found their greatest joy in the special moments spent surrounded by family and friends.

Dennis was a man with a kind and compassionate heart who genuinely cared for those around him. He found great happiness in the simple things in life, especially spending time with the people he loved. His family held a special place in his heart, and he also had a deep love for his farm and the life he built there.

Dennis is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Linda Thigpen Daniel of Collinwood, Tennessee; two sons, including Dennis Keith Daniel of Knoxville, Tennessee; Christopher Daniel of Collinwood Tennessee; two grandsons, including Jayden Daniel of Collinwood, Tennessee; Hunter Caperton of Collinwood Tennessee; one precious great-great-granddaughter, Marlee May Daniel of Collinwood, Tennessee; one sister, Debra Holt; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Dennis will be remembered for his kind heart, his compassion for others, and, above all, the tremendous love he had for his family. His memory will live on through the many lives he touched and the countless cherished moments shared with those who knew and loved him.

Funeral Services will be on Friday at Shackelford Funeral Directors on Friday October 2, 2026, at 2:00pm.  Visitation with the family will be Friday from 11:00am until 2:00pm service time. With Roger Creecy and Greg Eaton Officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens
