Dennis Joe "Puddin" Durham

DENNIS JOE "PUDDIN" DURHAM

was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on February 21, 1956 the son of the late Luther and Pearlee Lamar Durham.

On November 7, 2008 he was united in marriage to Jamey Inez Ritchie, who survives.

Dennis was a retired correctional officer for South Central Correctional Facility. He also had worked for Amoco for many years and the City of Savannah Street Department. Dennis was a member of Meeks Grove Freewill Baptist Church and was a member of the Savannah Masonic Lodge, Local 102, where he was former Past Master. In his spare time, he loved to fish, ride 4 wheelers and eat. Being with his grandchildren and family was his greatest love.

Dennis departed this life on Monday, March 18, 2019 in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 63 years and 25 days.

In addition to his wife of 10 years, Jamey of Savannah, Tennessee he is survived by his children, Chad Durham and his wife Latonya of Savannah, Tennessee and April Spoon and her husband Timothy of Burnsville, Mississippi; step children, Nathan Ritchie and Jimmy Beckham of Savannah, Tennessee, Kris Vaughn and his wife Brooke of Crump, Tennessee and Autumn Shroud and her husband Jeff of Adamsville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Gage Durham, Cayden Spoon, Ethan Vaughn and Audrey Shroud; brothers, John Durham and Donnie Durham, both of Savannah, Tennessee; and sister, Donna Jerrolds and her husband Clint of Savannah, Tennessee.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Dwayne Durham and one sister, Judy Rainey.
