Beech Bluff: Thomas Dennis Fitzgerald, age 65, died at the emergency room of Tennova Regional Hospital Saturday evening.
Mr. Fitzgerald was born in Gibson County at Milan, the son of the late Thomas Kyle and Mary Lois Phillips Fitzgerald. He graduated from Milan High School in 1969 and attended Bethel University for three years. He was a chemical engineer at CECO Door and later worked with his father at Milan Decorators. He married Annette Hodges in 1998 and they made their home at Beech Bluff. He liked watching football and spending time with family and grandkids.
He is survived by his wife; Annette Hodges Fitzgerald of Beech Bluff, two sons; Chris Fitzgerald of South Haven, MS and Brian Fitzgerald of Starkville, MS a step-daughter; April Downing and husband Wade of Jackson, and two grandchildren; Nathean Burress and Brylee Downing; and mother-in-law, Frances Smith of Henderson.
The family will receive friends at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Casey Chapel from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday.
