Dennis Tracy Jordan was born in Pensacola, Florida, on June 12, 1964, the son of Doris Harvell Taylor and the late Robert Earl Jordan. On July 3, 1987 he was united in marriage to Bonnie Chisholm, who survives.
Dennis had lived in Texas for 28 years and Memphis, Tennessee where he had been the Manager at Penske and had also been a Civilian Contractor for ManTech for 10 years. He had also been the manager for Waste Management in Jackson, Tennessee. Dennis served in the United States Army for 21 years, 3 months, and 12 days and accomplished so much in his military career. He served in Desert Storm, Korea, Afghanistan, Kuwait, and Iraq. After he retired he did 4 tours as a civilian.
Dennis liked to fish and hunt, and he loved his children very much. He always took care of his family, was kind hearted, and never met a stranger.
He departed this life on Friday, January 12, 2018, at the age of 53 years and 7 months.
Dennis is survived by his wife, Bonnie Jordan of Morris Chapel, Tennessee; children, Marion Kelley of Mary Esther, Florida, Jamie Jordan, Dennis T. Jordan of Madison, Alabama, Christopher J. Jordan of Killeen, Texas, Jeremy Jordan, April Jordan, Jerry Jordan, Christian Jordan, Christopher A. Jordan, and Noah Jordan, all of Morris Chapel, Tennessee; grandchildren, Conner Kelley, Felicity Kelley, and Mark Tracy Kelley; mother, Doris Taylor of Pensacola, Florida; and sisters, Cindy Sunday of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee and Amanda Taylor of Birmingham, Alabama.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Jordan and a sister, Helen Hughes.
