Dennis N. Rumbaugh of Collinwood, TN was born September 24, 1953 in Florence, Alabama, the son of the late John Charles and Wilton Geneva Brewer Rumbaugh. He was united in marriage to Pamela Sue Jones on February 5, 1972.
Mr. Rumbaugh was a owner/operator of Rumbaugh Logging and attended the Collinwood Church of God in Collinwood, Tennessee.
Mr. Rumbaugh departed this life on Friday, January 28, 2011 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 57 Years, 4 Months, 4 Days.
He is survived by his wife, Pam Rumbaugh of Collinwood, TN; two daughters, Monica Thompson and husband, Steven of Lawrenceburg, TN, Chastity Ayers and husband, Jamie of Florence, AL; four grandchildren, Aubree Ayers, Ava Ayers, Maggie Thompson, Mallie Thompson; a brother, Johnny Rumbaugh of Collinwood, TN; a sister, Judy Holt of Collinwood, TN; nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Monday, January 31, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel in Collinwood, Tennessee, with Bro. Bob Weldon and Bro. Richard Bane officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens at Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors directing. Pallbearers will be Cody Holt, Josh Davis, Jeff Davis, Dan Staggs, Jerry Thrasher, and Marshall Bain.
Visitation will be Sunday, January 30, 2011 from 6 pm to 9 pm and Monday, January 31, 2011 from 10 am until service time at the funeral home.
