Denny Earl Smith

Denny Earl Smith of Ramer, TN passed away suddenly on Sunday, August 30, 2020 at Magnolia Regional Health Center at the age of 64 years. Denny was born in Rochelle, IL on January 28, 1956 to Robert and Nellie Smith. He made a career working at Corinth Plating in Corinth, MS, then Southern Plating in Savannah, TN. He retired from Southern Plating in 2017. He enjoyed spending time with family. Denny was always the first to arrive at family gatherings so he could be the taste-tester, and he was always the last one to leave so he got the to-go boxes. He also enjoyed fishing and playing his guitar with friends.
In addition to his parents, Denny was preceded in death his beloved sister, Janell Smith Foust; grandparents, Ebert and Minnie Robertson, and Icey Dunn.

Denny is survived by his sister, Dot Switcher and husband Kim; his oldest niece Julia Smith and husband Cheyne and their children, Tucker and Harlee Cait; his nephew, Christopher Smith; his niece, Sarah James and husband Cody and their children, Ashton, Ashley, Noah, Spencer, Kaylyn and Madison; and his son Drew Smith and children, Justin and Jaxon.
