Dewey Williams

Henderson, TN: Dewey Williams age 86, passed away Monday, May 30, 2016 at Methodist Hospital Germantown.
He was born June 12, 1929 in Chester County, the son of the late Allen Houston and Nellie Johnston Williams. He attended schools in Chester County and graduated from Chester County High School in 1947 in the Old George Robison Christian College. He became an electrical contractor, wiring factories and buildings all over the state, after putting in twenty years he quit and went to wiring homes in and around Henderson. He dug graves for both funeral homes in Henderson for several years. After retirement he had been associated with the Chester County School System as a trouble shooter and repairman. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church.
He is survived by a cousin, Kenneth Clement of Henderson and many friends.
Graveside services will be 1:00 PM Thursday, at New Salem Cemetery near Bethel Springs, TN.
The family will receive friends at Johnson Chapel beginning at 10:00 AM until 12:30 PM Thursday.
