Diane Crawford Walton

Mrs. Walton passed away Monday morning at her home near Bolivar.
A native of Brownsville, she was the daughter of Doris Ervin Crawford and the late Toy Percer Crawford. During her school years, Diane lived in Fayette County and also lived several years in Lauderdale County. She was part of the last graduating class from Whiteville High School in 1970. She also graduated from Memphis School of Commerce and was a long-time employee of Memphis Mental Health Center, TN Department of Corrections and Arlington Developmental Center. At the time of her retirement, she moved to Bolivar with her husband, John. who she wed on October 10, 1999. In her leisure time, Mrs. Walton enjoyed gardening, fishing and caring for her 5 miniature dachshunds.
In addition to her husband and mother, she leaves a sister, Nancy (Bill) Tucker of Mt. Ida, AR; a brother, Toy (Betty) Crawford of Lebanon, TN; a step-son, John (June) Walton, III of Memphis and 3 granddaughters.
