Dianne Ledbetter Wilson

January 27, 1938 — December 24, 2015

Dianne Ledbetter Wilson was born on January 27, 1938, in Counce, Tennessee to the late Elmer and Hazel Ledbetter. Dianne was a Valedictorian at Shiloh High School in Hardin County, Tennessee and attended one year at Union University in Jackson, Tennessee. She received an Executive Secretarial Diploma from the Memphis School of Commerce entitling her as a certified professional Secretary. Dianne worked as a secretary while attending school at night until obtaining her BBA from Memphis State University. She was named "outstanding student" for business education for that year. Dianne received her Masters at North East Louisiana University and started teaching business courses for fifteen years at different schools. She later became certified in Special Education and spent 25 years teaching for Pine Tree ISD from which she retired in 1999. She has lived in Kilgore since 1990 and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Kilgore and will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her brothers-in-law, Don Wilson and wife, Nell of Morton, Mississippi and James Wilson and wife, Fran of Dickson, Tennessee, and other loving family members and friends.

Dianne was preceded in death by her husband, Mack Wilson in 2005.
