Dolores Marie Gentile Bowen fell asleep in death on Friday February 10th, 2017 At her home in Cypress Inn, TN. At the 84 years of age.
She was born on October 15th, 1932 To the late Nicholas & Edith Marie Mitchell Gentile. She was United in marriage to Emory Rayford Bowen on June 9th, 1956. Thus being married 60 years. Dolores Marie Gentile Bowen was survived by her husband Emory Rayford Bowen of Cypress Inn. One daughter ,Susanna Marie Bowen Russell of Florence, AL. Three sons, Forrest Eugene Bowen of Iron City , TN. Mark Alan Bowen and wife Jeneen Combs Bowen .Perry Heath Bowen and wife Hannah Bowen of Sheffield, AL. Four Grandchildren, Kirk Bowie Russell of Florence and his brother Trevor Nicholas from Muscle Shoals,AL. Also, Jarrett Nicholas Bowen of Lawrenceburg, TN and Skylar Bowen of Sheffield, AL. And one great grandson, Harper Grey Russell of Florence, AL. She has one nephew Joe Henson, Orange County. CA. In addition to her parents she was proceeded in death by sister Ramona Grace Hanson.
Mrs. Bowen graduated from Carl Hayden High School in Phoenix, AZ in 1950. Later she attended the University of Phoenix Business College and received a 2 year degree. Then she was employed by Motorola of AZ. Once she moved to Wayne County ,TN she was hired on at Mallory Co.
But Most of All she loved her God, Jehovah. (Psalm 83:18) And so she shared her faith about him with other's as did His Son , Christ Jesus . She loved her family and neighbors and never met a stranger , as she strived to imitate our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus to the best of her ability.
She learned many bible truths and was baptised as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on September 9th, 1949 in Phoenix, AZ and continued serving her Great God as she was a member of the Waynesboro, TN congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses at the time of her going to sleep in death. (John 11:11)
She loved feeding people her big "Spaghetti Meals". She so loved animals of all sorts!!! And daily looked forward to caring for them. From the domestic animals to feeding the wild birds, at her bird feeder.Knowing that this was God's original purpose and that nothing can stop that. She knew that God's Will 'will be done on Earth As it is in Heaven " soon! (Genesis 1:28 ,Isaiah 55:10,11) She looked forward to "the new earth" as promise at 2 Peter 3:10.

After a 30 minute memorial , including pictures and videos of her life. We will share a meal
