Don Croteau was born on July 17, 1949 in Northbridge, Massachusetts, the son of the late William Napolean and Anna Theresa Lefrancois Croteau. Mr. Croteau served his country proudly in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. On November 29, 1969, he was united in marriage to Linda A. Fisher, who survives.
Don got his education from Johnson and Wales College, and worked for 35 years as a Sales/Service Manager for Kadant Web Systems, INC. in Auburn, Massachusetts. He had also lived in Oxford, Massachusetts and Fort Plain, New York, before retiring to Hardin County.
Don loved making crafts for his family and also enjoyed planting and harvesting his vegetable garden.
He departed this life at his residence in Savannah, Tennessee on April 20, 2017 at the age of 67 years, 9 months, and 3 days.
In addition to his wife of 47 years, he is survived by two daughters: Lisa Ford of Finger, Tennessee; Wendy Croteau of Savannah, Tennessee.
One brother, David Croteau of Uxbridge, Massachusetts, and his mother-in-law Claire Fisher, of Savannah, Tennessee.
He was preceded in death by his father in 1998, his mother in 2008, and his brother, Dennis Croteau in 2012.
