Donald Edward Balentine

Mr. Donald Edward Balentine departed this life on Friday, December 4, 2015 at his residence in Collinwood, Tennessee at the age of 70 Years, 3 Months, 2 Days. He was born September 2, 1945 in Lutts, Tn the son of the late Edward Ray Balentine and Mary Gladys Rich Balentine.

He was united in marriage to Elizabeth Faye Brown on June 20, 1969.

Mr. Balentine was retired from Murray Ohio Manufacturing . He was a member of the Collinwood Masonic Lodge #702, Collinwood Order of Easter Star # 422 York Rite , member of the Freewill Baptist Church and served his country in the United States Army.

He is survived by his wife Elizabeth Faye (Brown) Balentine of Collinwood, TN; a son, Chad Balentine and wife Christine of Savannah, TN; a daughter, Jessica (Balentine) Smith and husband Dustin of Collinwood, TN; grandsons, Maddox Balentine, Garrison Smith, Colton Baletine, granddaughter; Stormi Steelman; sisters, Dorothy Berry and husband Leo of Collinwood, TN, Kathy Morris and husband Jerry of Savannah, TN, Shelia Daniels and husband Penny of Collinwood, TN, mother in law, Minnie C. Brown of Waynesboro, TN.

Services will be held on Sunday, December 6, 2015, 2:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home in Collinwood, Tennessee, with Greg Eaton, John E. Banks and Keith Montgomery officiating. Burial will follow in Piney Grove Cemetery, Cypress Inn, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be on Saturday, Dec. 5th. 5:00-9:00 pm and on Sunday, Dec. 6th. 11:00 am until service time @ Shackelford Funeral Home, Collinwood,, TN
