Donald Wayne Cooper was born on August 9, 1951 in Haleyville, Alabama, the son of the late Curtis Hampton and Vera Evelene Eddy Cooper.
Mr. Cooper honorably served his country in the United States Army in Vietnam from July 9, 1970 until November 3, 1971. He later worked for Boatwright Inc. for 12 years doing new construction and commercial work. Donald was an avid Nascar fan and loved his racecars. Most of all, he loved his daughter, Amy.
Donald Wayne Cooper departed this life on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 69 years, 3 months, and 22 days.
He is survived by his daughter, Amy Sielicki of Sommerville, South Carolina; sisters, Margie McLin of Olive Hill, Tennessee and Maxine McMurtury of Cairo, Georgia; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
