Mr. Donald O'Neal "Coon" Hughes departed this life on Friday, September 29, 2017, at the age of 60 Years, 4 Months, 9 Days. He was born May 20, 1957 in Lawrence County, TN the son of the late Thomas Oneal and Juanita Ayers Hughes.
He was united in marriage to Janice Dedrick on May 3, 1991.
Mr. Hughes was retired from Murray Ohio Manufacturing.
He is survived by his wife Janice Dedrick Hughes, daughter, Bridget Hughes both of Waynesboro, TN., stepson, Terry Conway Jr., Savannah, TN., brothers, Tom Hughes, girlfriend Marge,Loretto, TN, Billy Hughes, wife Almeda, Pulaksi, TN, Charles Buddy Hughes, Waynesboro, TN., sisters, Kathy Skelton, Waynesboro, TN., Anita Jackson, Pulaski, TN., grandchildren, Colby Mathis, wife Madie, Amber Brooke Gower, Andrew Gower, Lucas Gower, Abby Conway, Anna Conway, great grandchildren, Greyson, Alana Sophia Mathis.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Hughes was preceded in death by brother, Jerry Dale Hughes.
Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at 5:00 PM Shackelford Funeral Home chapel in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Dewayne Staggs officiating.
His remains were creamted.
