Donald Howard Keeton

Donald Howard Keeton of Cypress Inn, TN was born May 9, 1948 in Wayne County, Tennessee, the son of Louis Donald Keeton of Cypress Inn, TN, who survives, and the late Ira Christine Hanback Keeton. He was united in marriage to Shirley Pinkard and she preceded him in death on April 9, 2002.
Mr. Keeton was a disabled assembly line worker and inspector with Murray Ohio Manufacturing Company. He was a member of the Cypress Oak Grove Freewill Baptist Church in Cypress Inn, Tennessee.
Mr. Keeton departed this life on Saturday, July 23, 2011 at E. C. M. Hospital in Florence, Alabama at the age of 63 Years, 2 Months, 14 Days.
Other than his father, he is survived by a son, Andrew Keeton of Lawrenceburg, TN; daughters, Angela Keeton Hill and husband, Kevin of Phil Campbell, AL, Patricia Pinkard Thorn and husband, Jason of Russellville, AL; grandchildren, Cecily Goss, Chelsea Puller, D. J. Wisdom, Nick Thorn; great-grandchildren, Cameron Goss, Chloe Puller, Hayden Wisdom, Dillon Morgan; sisters, Judy Ann Keeton Davis and husband, Tim of Florence, AL, Janice Christine Keeton Kilpatrick and husband, Jerry of Waynesboro, TN, Sabrina LaSha Keeton of Cloverdale, AL; nieces and nephews; girlfriend, Inez Tidwell of Cherokee, AL.
In addition to his wife and mother, Mr. Keeton was preceded in death by a son, Donald Howard Keeton Jr.; a daughter, Virginia Ann Keeton; a grandchild, Kelli Thorn Morgan; brothers, James Carroll (J. C.) Keeton, Louis Daniel (L. D.) Keeton.
Services will be Monday, July 25, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home, Collinwood, Tennessee, with Everett Rich and Gerald Montgomery officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Cypress Inn, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors directing. Pallbearers will be Brent Davis, Blair Davis, Eric Davis, Daniel Keeton, Jason Thorn, Nick Thorn.
