Donald Gene Nutt

Donald Gene Nutt was born on January 7, 1940, the son of the late Herman and Goldie Mary Brewer Nutt.

On February 25, 1961, he was united in marriage to Linda Ann Warren, who preceded her husband in death on August 19, 2019.

Donald honorably served his country for nine years in the Tennessee National Guard. He was a member of the Woodmen of the World Lodge 920. Donald retired from the Wayne County Vocational School where he spent many years as a teacher.

Donald Gene Nutt departed this life on Friday, January 27, 2023, at the age of 83 years and 20 days.

He is survived by his grandchildren, Amber Haggard and Garrett Haggard (Madison); great-grandchildren, Kaylee Crews (Clay), Makohl Haggard, Kinsley Miller, Madden Haggard, Greyson Haggard, Hayes Haggard, and Huck Haggard; great-great-grandchild, Teagan Crews; sister, Linda Faye White, and a host of neices and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, Donald was preceded in death by his daughter, Annette Haggard; brothers, Robert Eugene Nutt, Harold Wilbert Nutt, and Billy Dan Nutt; and nephew, Bryan Skelton.
