DONALD RHOADES, JR.

Henderson, TN: Donald Sheridan Rhoades, Jr., age 66 passed away June 13, 2026, at Henderson Health and Rehabilitation.

He was born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas on June 11, 1960, son of the late Donald Sheridan Rhoades, Sr. and Joyce Carter Elliot.

Donald enjoyed gardening, spending time outdoors working in the yard and relaxing with a couple of beers. He had a passion for Harley Davidsons and always wore a bandana. He was dedicated to his work as a sandblaster.

He also enjoyed raising turkeys, chickens, and roosters, taking pride in the life he built and the time he spent caring for his animals.

He is survived by a son, Donald Rhoades, III of Henderson; two daughters, Ashley Rhoades of Shreveport, Louisiana and Nichole Rhoades of Logansport, Louisiana; a brother, Kenny Rhoades of Alabama and sister, Donna Rhoades of Campti, Louisiana; six grandchildren, Aniya Rhodes, Ky’riana, Ka’miyah and Kyrie Moran, Alissia Sauseda and Paisley Rhoades; and a great grandchild, Zakiaus Sauseda; and mother of his children, Theresa Rhoades.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Lynn Rhoades and sister, Krystal Rhoades.
