Donna Gayle Clifft, age 71, of Etheridge, Tennessee, departed this life on Wednesday, August 19, 2026.

Donna was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She was known for her loving, kind, and giving heart and was always willing to share what she had with others. Her greatest joy was found in the time she spent with those she loved.

Donna enjoyed going to yard sales, shopping, and playing cards with her sisters. She loved cooking and baking for her family and friends, finding happiness in caring for others and bringing people together. Donna also loved being in church, and her faith remained steadfast throughout her battle with cancer.

She is survived by her children, Cody Holt (Jennifer) of Hohenwald, Tennessee, and Cassie Seale (Ryan) of Etheridge, Tennessee; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; her best friend and companion of 43 years, Joe Holt of Collinwood, Tennessee; her sisters, Betty Shultz, Wanda Bennett, and Pam Peters; as well as multiple nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, John Womble and Opal Manning, Donna was preceded in death by her siblings, Kenneth Womble, Johnny Womble, Joyce Womble, and Helen Gwen.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Collinwood, Tennessee. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Stacy Holt officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens.

Donna's loving spirit, generous heart, and devotion to her family will be cherished and remembered by all who were blessed to know and love her.
