Donna Jo Rickman was born on September 18, 1938, in Huntington, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Faye and Dorothy Martin Willis.
She was united in marriage to Willard Rickman, who preceded her in death on February 7, 2017.
Donna dedicated many years to serving her community through her work. She was employed in the cutting department at Brown Shoe Factory until its closure and later worked as a department manager at the Selmer Walmart for more than 20 years. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church in Bethel Springs, Tennessee.
Donna enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. She loved playing bingo, putting together puzzles, knitting, crocheting, and cross-stitching. She also enjoyed creating Diamond Art crafts, selling Mary Kay products, and was always excited to browse and order unique items from QVC. Above all, she cherished the time she spent with her family and the many memories they shared together.
Mrs. Rickman departed this life on July 30, 2026, in Selmer, Tennessee, at the age of 87 years, 10 months, and 12 days.
She is survived by her son, Roger Rickman and wife, Amy, of Selmer, Tennessee; two daughters, Cathy Moore and husband, James, of Moore, Oklahoma, and Amy Drinkard and husband, Randy, of Selmer, Tennessee; her brother, Mike Willis of DeRidder, Louisiana; six grandchildren, Derek Moore and wife, Rachel, of Boise, Idaho, Matt Rickman and wife, Holly, of Selmer, Tennessee, Spencer Drinkard of Selmer, Tennessee, Darby Drinkard of Selmer, Tennessee, Clint Rickman of Ramer, Tennessee, and Logan Mitchell of Selmer, Tennessee; and seven great-grandchildren, Matthew Rickman, Madi Beth Drinkard, Maelyn Drinkard, Everly Moore, Briar Moore, Casper Moore, and Malcolm Moore.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Rickman was preceded in death by her brother, Ronnie Willis.
Donna will be remembered for her strong work ethic, creative spirit, kind heart, and the love she shared with her family and friends. Her memory will be treasured by all who knew and loved her.
