DONNA LAVERNE SMITH
was born on June 22, 1942, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to the late Olgie Treece and Helen (Reed) Rhodes Brooks. On January 26, 1958, she was united in marriage to Stanley R. Smith.
Mrs. Smith worked as a Bookkeeper/Secretary for the Smith's Petroleum Marketing Company in West Plains, Missouri, where she lived for 37 years. She was a member of the Pickwick United Methodist Church in Counce, Tennessee.
Mrs. Smith departed this life on March 4, 2013, at the age of 70 years, 8 months and 10 days.
In addition to her husband, Stanley R. Smith of Savannah, Tennessee, she is survived by a daughter, Sonia Lynete Wheat of Sparta, Missouri, and a son, Stanley Kirk Smith of Iuka, Mississippi; two grandchildren, Joshua Kirk Smith and Tiffany Brotherton and two great-grandchildren, Kaylee Brotherton and Jayden Smith; and a sister, Coleen Weaver of Lawrence, Kansas.
