DONNIE RAY HEMBY
He was born March 17, 1950 in Chester County, TN the son of the late Johnnie Anderson Hemby and Annie Estelle Linton Hemby Anderson. He graduated from Chester County High School in 1968, and served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He worked most of his life as an auto mechanic and small engine mechanic. He was a member of the Estes church of Christ.
Mr. Hemby departed this life on June 24, 2013 in Henderson, Tennessee at the age of 63 Years, 3 Months, 7 Days.
He is survived by his wife Barbara Jean (Autry) Hemby of Henderson, TN; a daughter, Jessica Hollin; a brother, Ronnie Hemby of Henderson, TN; Grandchildren, Jason Kyle Hollin, Kaitlyn Brooke Hollin and Ethan Allen Koch.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Hemby was preceded in death by a son, Johnny Hemby; three brothers, Lloyd Hemby, Floyd Hemby, Ricky Hemby and a sister, Peggy Hall.
Services will be held on June 26, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors-Johnson Chapel in Henderson, Tennessee, with Mark Blackwelder officiating. Burial will follow in the Big Springs Cemetery at Five Points, Tennessee.
