Donnie Ray Pierce

Donnie Ray Pierce, of Florence, AL, peacefully passed away on July 2, 2024, at the age of 57 in the comfort of his home. Born in Savannah, TN, to the loving parents Harry and Ester Ivon Eaton Pierce, Donnie's spirit was deeply rooted in the Baptist faith.

Donnie will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by his surviving brother, Dewayne Pierce, and his five sisters: Brenda Carbine (Jimmy), Joyce Maxwell, Regina Hayes (Randy), Wanda Lambert (Scottie), and Donna Perry (Richard). Additionally, he leaves behind his special friend, Barbara Bolden, and a multitude of nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart.

In the embrace of eternity, Donnie reunites with his beloved parents, as well as his brothers Harry Eugen Pierce, Thomas Glenn Pierce, Jimmy Pierce; and sisters Betty Brown, Crystella Elliott, and Violet Hubbard. Their spirits now journey together beyond the earthly realm.

A Memorial service to honor Donnie's life will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Piney Grove Church with Brothers Greg Eaton and Cameron Eaton officiating. May the memories we shared with Donnie warm our hearts as we celebrate a life that touched so many with kindness and love.
