Doris Jean Brewer

Doris Jean Hall Brewer of Waynesboro, TN was born June 14, 1952 in Delhi, LA, daughter of the late E. D. and Wilma Elizabeth Stout Hall. She married Raleigh Fay Brewer, Sr., September 13, 1970 and he preceded her in death, October 9, 2012. A grocery clerk and member of First United Methodist Church, Waynesboro, Tennessee, she departed this life, October 1, 2017 at Wayne Medical Center, Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 65 Years, 3 Months, 17 Days.

Survivors, stepson, Raleigh Fay Brewer, Jr., Franklin, TN; grandson, Samuel Clayton Brewer, Waynesboro, TN; brothers, John Hall, Arcaida, LA, Barry Hall, Mt. Laurel, LA, Michael Hall, Epps, LA, Edward Hall, Bastrop, LA, Ernie Hall, Whitney, TX; sisters, Lillie Brewer and Elizabeth Rippy both of Waynesboro, TN, Fay Holloway of Calhoun, LA, Kay McMillan of Sterlington, LA.

Besides her husband and parents, Mrs. Brewer was preceded in death by brothers, Henry, Ken and George Hall; sisters, Wanda Hall, Sherry Rhodes.

Services will be Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel, Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Casey Jones and Walter Allen officiating. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Waynesboro, Tennessee, Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 3, 2017 from 5 pm to 8 pm and Wednesday, October 4, 2017 from 8 am until service time at the funeral home.
