Doris Virginia Mason

DORIS VIRGINIA MASONwas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on January 31, 1933 the daughter of Aubrey Wardlow and the late Vera Helen Harrison Wardlow.On May 3, 1975 she was united in marriage to Dave Robert Mason, who survives.Mrs. Mason was a homemaker and a member of Spoken Word Ministry. She enjoyed crocheting afghans and other items for fundraisers.Mrs. Mason departed this life on August 23, 2009 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 76 years, 6 months and 23 days.Other than her husband, Dave of Savannah, Tennessee, she is survived by 6 daughters, Shelia Kaye McCoy of Waverly, Tennessee, Marilyn Smith of Bethel Springs, Tennessee, Carolyn Lewis of Selmer, Tennessee, Cathy Griffin and her husband Larry of Adamsville, Tennessee, Yvonne Robinson of Counce, Tennessee and Amanda Morris of Savannah, Tennesseeone stepson, Robert Clarence Mason of Savannah, Tennessee8 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchildher father, Aubrey Wardlow of Shiloh, Tennesseeone sister, Mary Evelyn Banks of Savannah, TennesseeOther than her mother, Mrs. Mason was also preceded in death by one son, Bobby Ray Willcutt and one grandson, Michael Dewayne Coats.
