Doris McDaniel Morris was born October 27, 1959 in McNairy County, TN the daughter of the late Estle Lee and Sarah Gazelle Hurst McDaniel.
She was united in marriage to David Keith Morris, who survives.
Doris was a retired production worker, having been employed by ITT and various garment factories. She had resided in Memphis with her Oriol Cove family for the last 14 years.
Doris departed this life on March 23, 2020 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 60 Years, 4 Months, 25 Days. In addition to her husband she is survived by a daughter, Sarah Michelle (Morris) Jones and husband Shane of Corinth, MS; two grandchildren, Whitley Shyanne Jones and Prestyn Shyne Jones, both of Corinth, MS; two brothers, Waynon McDaniel of Adamsville, TN and Roy McDaniel and wife Anna of Bethel Springs, TN; three sisters: Nola Smith of Bethel Springs, TN, Dorothy Stout of Bethel Springs, TN, and Mary Whitten of Selmer, TN; and many extended family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond Lee McDaniel.
IN RESPONSE TO GOVERNOR LEE’S EXECUTIVE ORDER 17, WHICH TOOK EFFECT AT 12:01 AM MARCH 23, 2020, THERE WILL BE NO PUBLIC VISITATIONS OR SERVICES THROUGH APRIL 5, 2020.
