Doris Cook Robertson

Mrs. Doris Faye Cook Robertson was born April 10, 1960 in Waynesboro, TN the daughter of Novella Simmons Cook and the late Oddo Cook. She was united in marriage to James "Ebb" Robertson on September 29, 1978. Mrs Robertson was a Head Start Teacher's Aide for Wayne County Schools, and was a member of the Green River Tabernacle in Waynesboro. Mrs Robertson departed this life on September 9, 2021 in at the age of 61 Years, 4 Months and 30 Days.

She is survived by her husband James "Ebb" Robertson of Collinwood, TN;
two daughters, Selena Robertson Staggs and husband Brandon of Waynesboro, TN, Emily Robertson of Collinwood, TN; a child of the heart, John Hickman and wife Amy of Waynesboro, TN; mother, Novella Simmons Cook, of Collinwood, TN; two sisters, Rebecca Overstreet of Nashville, TN, Susan Cook Calton of Madison, AL; three grandchildren, Jamie Lauren Hickman, Myles Butler, Isabella Beckham-Staggs; She is also survived by several loving nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to her father, Mrs Robertson was preceded in death by a daughter, Janet Brooke Robertson; and a sister, Janet Cook Trull.

Visitation will be held on Sunday September 12, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Greenriver Tabernacle and again on Monday September 13, 2021 from 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM at Greenriver Tabernacle

Services will be held on Monday September 13, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Green River Tabernacle in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Jason Janes and Tim Hanback officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens at Collinwood, with Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting the family.
