Doris Ann Smith was born October 18, 1949 in Memphis, Tennessee the daughter of the late John and Mary Tacker Hunt.
She was united in marriage to Tim Smith on September 18, 1978.
Mrs. Smith was a homemaker, and enjoyed attending the First Christian Church in Adamsville, Tennessee with her daughter. She was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Savannah Lodge. Mrs. Smith loved growing and tending flowers, and would sometimes stop along the road to retrieve a variety she did not have in her garden. She also enjoyed going fishing when the opportunity presented itself.
Mrs. Smith departed this life on December 23, 2009 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 60 Years, 2 Months, 5 Days. She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Tim Smith of Adamsville, TN; a daughter, Amber Denise Smith of Adamsville, TN; two sons, Shane Williams of Savannah, TN and Reggie Williams and wife Andrea of Clifton, TN; two grandchildren, Josh Williams of Covington, TN and Logan Williams of Selmer, TN; a sister, Belinda Mamula and husband Lynn of Adamsville, TN; four brothers: Jim Hunt and wife Betty of Savannah, TN, Roy Hunt and wife Linda of Savannah, TN, Larry Hunt and wife Vickie of Adamsville, TN, and Jerry Hunt and wife Sharon of Adamsville, TN; her mother-in-law, Rheba Smith of Bethel Springs, TN; and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by a brother, John E. Hunt, and a sister-in-law, Peggy Hunt.
