Doris Annette Butler (Stack) died Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at Pleasant View Nursing Home.
She was born in Memphis, TN to Beriah Gwynfa Butler and Ann Coline Crowley Butler. On January 12, 1959, she married Gilbert Lee Stack and they moved to Indiana. In 2007, after 48 years in the North, they moved back to Tennessee. Mrs. Stack was self-employed as an accountant. She was a member of the Hammond 7th Day Adventist Church where she loved teaching children. Other interests included gardening, working with flowers, cooking, sewing and reading.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Joe (Trudy) Stack of Silerton and James (Janith) Stack of Jackson; two daughters, Jacie (Dave) Reagan of Muskegon, MI and Janalee Wilson of Memphis; a sister, Gwen Lindley of Bolivar; a brother, Mike (Rhonda) Tims of Savannah; seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
