DORIS YOUNG
was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on September 7, 1936 the daughter of the late John Andrew and Annie Garner Willoughby.
On September 4, 1957 she was united in marriage to Travis Young, who survives.
Mrs. Young was retired after 15 years as a seamstress from Angelica. She was a member of Mt. Hermon Baptist Church for 43 years. Ms. Young enjoyed taking care and feeding her family, she cooked supper on Tuesday nights for them. She was an avid church worker and helped cook on Wednesday nights.
Mrs. Young departed this life on February 10, 2013 in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 76 years, 5 months and 3 days.
In addition to her husband Travis of Savannah, Tennessee, she is survived by her children, Greg Young and his wife Retha of Savannah, Tennessee and Tommy Young of Ft. Myers, Florida
2 grandchildren, Abby Alexander and her husband Josh and Cassie Benson and her husband Brock
2 great grandchildren, Brody Alexander and Kandler Benson
four brothers, Gene Willoughby and Dan Willoughby both of Savannah, Tennessee, Johnny Willoughby of Lebanon, Tennessee and Bill Willoughby of Clifton, Tennessee
a special sister in law, Mary Gilliam and her husband Garland of Savannah, Tennessee
