DOROTHY ANN ALEXANDER
was born in Clifton, Tennessee on March 21, 1952 the daughter of the late Coleman McDaniel, Jr. and JoAnn Burns Weatherspoon.
Dorothy worked as a Nurses Aide and in her spare time loved to go walking.
Dorothy departed this life on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 68 years, 1 month and 21 days.
She is survived by her two children, Reginald McDaniels and his wife Tishie of Dallas, Texas and Sesame Fry of Savannah, Tennessee; sisters, Sherian Hartnest and husband Emmett of Savannah, Tennessee, Kim Weatherspoon of Martin, Tennessee, Elizabeth McCoy of Tupelo, Mississippi, Kimberly Akinyele and husband Emmannuel of Nashville, Tennessee, Anita McDaniel of Flint, Michigan, and Catina Weatherspoon of Savannah, Tennessee; and brothers, Stevie Weatherspoon of Savannah, Tennessee, Victor Weatherspoon of Lexington, Tennessee, Galvin Weatherspoon of Memphis, Tennessee, Johnnie McDaniel and wife Carolyn of Flint, Michigan, Don McDaniel and wife Rachel of McKenzie, Tennessee, Tommie Elmore of Lockridge, Florida and Hezekiah McDaniel and wife Joia of Ft. Worth, Texas.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, James Edward Burns and James Edward Casey.
