Dorothy Nell Anderson

Dorothy Nell Noojin Anderson was born May 11, 1936 in Gallant, AL the daughter of the late David Newton and Julia Evelyn Burt Noojin. Mrs. Anderson departed this life on Monday, December 18, 2017 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 81 Years, 7 Months, 7 Days. She owned a dress shop in Alabama for several years.

She is survived by her husband Marion R. Anderson of Attalla, AL, a daughter, Shelia Argo of Clifton, TN, two grandsons, Raymond Eric Argo and Lincoln Chase Argo and wife Allison, 2 great grandchildren, Nash and Gage Argo, four brothers, Cranston Noojin of Ft. Payne, AL, Charlie Noojin of Arab, AL, Larry Noojin of Phoenix, AZ, John Robert Noojin of Napierville, IL, two sisters, Doris Racich of Phoenix, AZ and Judy Evelyn Tripp of Doylestown, PA. In addition to her parents, Mrs Anderson was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph David Noojin.

Services will be held on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Waynesboro, Tennessee. Burial will follow in the Prater's Chapel Cemetery near Clifton, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge. Visitation will be at 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Shackelford funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.
