Graveside services for Dorothy Daniel Bailey, age 76, of Lawrenceburg, TN will be 1:00 pm Monday, November 2, 2009 at Butler Grove Cemetery near Collinwood with Gene Daniel officiating. Interment following services with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of arrangements.She was born May 16, 1933 the daughter of the late John William Daniel and Meda Effie Newman. In addition to her parents, Mrs Bailey was preceded in death by a daughter, Valerie Bailey. A native of Wayne County, she departed this life Friday, October 30, 2009 at Crockett Hospital in Lawrenceburg at the age of 76 Years, 5 Months, and 14 Days. Mrs. Bailey, a homemaker, was married to Oscar E. Bailey May 30, 1961. She is survived by her husband Oscar E. Bailey of Lawrenceburg, TN; son, William Bailey of Amarillo, TX; two daughters, Dena Bailey Chaney of Lawrenceburg, TN and a step-daughter, Barbara Ann Johnson of Henderson, NV; grandson, Hunter Chaney; and a sister, Faye Berry of Texas.
