Dorothy Barnett

Dorothy Barnett was born in Friendship, Tennessee on February 25, 1933, the daughter of the late Joseph Prentis and Eula Mae Henley. On August 19th, 1952, she was united in marriage to Clenton Sims Barnett, who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Barnett worked as a custodian for Aqua Glass, and had also worked for the Brown Shoe Company. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church. She liked to clean, was a perfectionist, and enjoyed riding around. She also enjoyed going camping, especially when she would take groups of kids from church.

She departed this life on November 24, 2016 in Lexington, South Carolina, at the age of 83 years, 8 months, and 30 days.

She is survived by her daughter Kay Gravino of Lexington, South Carolina;

Two grandchildren: Zane Gravino and Lindsey Justine Gravino;

Two great-grandchildren: Zander Gravino and Jaxon Gravino.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Lee Huckabee, and a brother, Thomas Henley.
