Dorothy Sue Brewer

Dorothy Brewer departed this life on January 6, 2018, at the age of 93 years, 2 months, and 18 days. She was born on October 19, 1924 in Hardeman County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Ed and Nona Vaughn Taylor. She was united in marriage to George P. Brewer, who preceded her in death onAugust 22, 1978.

Dorothy had worked as a machine operator at Garran Factory. She attended Christian Assembly Pentecostal Church in Adamsville, Tennessee. Dorothy enjoyed hunting,fishing, and crossword puzzles. She always took care of her friends, and enjoyed taking them to the doctor and being their caregiver.

Dorothy is survived by her son, Jerry Ganus and wife Doris, grandchild, Sondra Thorne, and great grandchild, Lydia Thorne.

In addition to her husband and parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her brother, Ed Taylor and sister, Peggy Taylor McCoy.
