Dorothy Mai Case was born January 6, 1926 in Madison County, Tennessee the daughter of the late Thomas B. and Laura Maynard Harrell.
She was united in marriage to James Willis Case on February 6, 1941. Mr. Case preceded her in death on November 9, 1990.
Mrs. Case was a retired production worker for Milan Arsenal and Jackson Battery Company, and she also worked as a cashier for Camps Grocery and Harwell's Grocery in Jackson, Tennessee. She was a member of the Bethel Springs First Baptist Church, and was a loving and devoted wife and mother. Her family was very important to her. She also loved cooking, crotcheting and tending to her flowers. Everything she did, she did for others.
Mrs. Case departed this life on February 8, 2007 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 81 Years, 1 Month, 2 Days. She is survived by three daughters: Bonnie Jean Lindsey and husband Don of Jackson, Tennessee, Brenda Faye Pickens and husband Paul of Bethel Springs, Tennessee and Sandy Kay Barr and husband Ken of Jackson, Tennessee; two sisters: Pauline Lane of Morton, Illinois and Sue Moore of Pinson, Tennessee; a son-in-law, Vernon Hickman of Bethel Springs, Tennessee; a brother-in-law, Finis Alvin Williams of Union City, Tennessee; 14 Grandchildren, 30 Great Grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
