Dorothy Marie Cook

DOROTHY MARIE MORGAN COOKwas born in Lutts, Tennessee on October 5, 1933 the daughter of the late Luther Taft and Letha Opal Beckham Morgan.On July 4, 1952 she was united in marriage to James L. Cook, who preceded his wife in death on May 10, 2008.Mrs. Cook was owner of Cooks Tavern. She departed this life on March 21, 2011 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 77 years, 5 months and 16 days.Mrs. Cook is survived by one daughter, Debbie Austin of Savannah, Tennessee1 grandchild, Donald Austin and Rose Austin2 great grandchildren, Ashton Austin and Aden Austin2 sisters, Josephine Caperton of Savannah, Tennessee and Bernice Dowdy and her husband Winford of Waterloo, Alabama.Mrs. Cook is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews
