Dorothy Faye "Aunt Dot" Johnson

Dorothy Faye "Aunt Dot" Johnson was born April 19, 1928 in McNairy County, TN, the daughter of the late Major and Lura Barnes Hill. She was a member of the Beauty Hill Pentecostal Church in Bethel Springs, TN and the Pens and Needles Quiting Club. She had worked for Brown Shoe Company for 38 years. Married Carlton Johnson in March of 2009. Then moved to Naylor, MO until Mr. Johnson passed away in 2012. She Loved going to church and being a pastor's wife. When she was able, Aunt Dot enjoyed gardening, flowers, traveling and being outside.

Mrs. Johnson departed this life on June 21, 2017 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 89 Years, 2 Months, 2 Days.

She is survived by a brother, W. T. Hill of Bethel Springs, TN; two nieces, Naomi Hill and Franics Hill both of Bethel Springs, TN; a nephew, Roger Hill and wife Connie of Jonesboro, AR; special friends, Sherry McConnaughay and husband Mark; and many great nices and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Lavern Hill.
