Dorothy Jean Kline left this earth on January 11, 2017. She was born on April 8,1929, the daughter of the late John and Thelma Duncan in Clifton, Tennessee.
On March 22, 1952 she was united in marriage to Calvin Jackson Kline, who survives.
Dorothy was a member of the Bellevue Baptist Church, where she was a part of the Alpha class. She was also a member of the Baptist School of Nursing Alumni Association. Dorothy loved her family and was a good wife, mother, and cook. She always put the Lord first.
Dorothy is survived by her husband Calvin of 64 years; her daughters, Kim Lawler and husband Don of Memphis, Tennessee and Holly Braswell and husband Mark of Collierville, Tennessee; a son, Clay Allison Kline of Memphis, Tennessee; sisters, Bertha Rhea Tobey and Saundra Sue Sabourin, both of Savannah, Tennessee; brothers, John Tillett Duncan and wife Brenda of Savannah, Tenessee and Cary Grant Duncan and wife Debbie of Savannah, Tennessee; grandchildren, Zachary Lewis Lawler and wife Amy, Abigail Duncan Lawler and husband Clive, Amy Alane Braswell, John Mark Braswell and wife Chelsea, and Matthew Luke Braswell; and great grandchildren, Hadley Mae Lawler, Ellie Kate Yeo, Kensington Kline Lawler, and Sawyer Brooks Yeo.
Along with her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her sisters, Betty Doris Coleman and Lucy Jerrolds; brothers, Jimmy Lee and Marvin Duncan; and a brother-in-law, Jim Sabourin.
