DOROTHY LAMBERT
Henderson, TN: Dorothy Louise Holt Lambert age 102 passed away September 24, 2018 at Henderson Health & Rehabilitation Center.
She was born September 17, 1916 in Gibson County, the daughter of the late Charlie Franks and Belle Robbins Holt. She attended school at Pinson and Henderson and married W.D. “Tom” Lambert in 1931. They made their home in Chester County. She worked at Salant & Salant and Scotts Hill Apparel. Mr. Lambert died in 1981. Mrs. Lambert enjoyed cooking, gardening and carrying baked goods to friends and neighbors. She was a member of the Clarks Creek Primitive Baptist Church.
Mrs. Lambert is survived by a daughter, Joy Horn of Memphis; a daughter–in-law, Emma Shedd Lambert of Bossier City, LA; five grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Tom Lambert in 1981, a son, James J. Lambert in 1997 and two brothers, Charlie Holt and Leonard Holt.
There will be a private family service and burial.
