Dorothy Alene Lockman

Dorothy Crabtree Lockman was born February 16, 1921 in Lawton, TN the daughter of the late Jim and Virgie LaRue Crabtree. She was united in marriage to Woodson Lockman in 1938. Mr. Lockman preceded her in death on June 18, 1987.

Mrs. Lockman had worked as a assembly worker for the Brown Shoe Company and General Electric before she retired. She was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Selmer, Tennessee.

Some of her favorite pastimes were working cross word puzzles, gardening, cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Lockman departed this life on January 14, 2015 in Southaven, Mississippi at the age of 93 Years, 10 Months, 30 Days. She is survived by a son, James T Lockman and wife Charlotte of Southaven, MS; two grandchildren, Tima Smith and husband Michael of Southaven, MS, Trae Lockman and wife Crissie of Southaven, MS; two great grandchildren, Chase Jones and Cayden Lockman both of Southaven, MS; along with a host of extended family and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Lockman was preceded in death by a son, Woodson Anthony Lockman; and a brother, Madison Crabtree.
