DOROTHY RHEA ROBERTS



was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on June 30, 1922 the daughter of the late William Ess and Mary Johnson Grimes.



On October 9, 1942 she was united in marriage to John Nathan Roberts, who preceded his wife in death on November 10, 1996.



Mrs. Roberts was a Quality Control Technician for Clifton Manufacturing. She was a member of Clifton Church of Christ. Mrs. Roberts loved sewing, quilting and other craft working. She also loved decorating her home and others for the holiday.



Mrs. Roberts departed this life on December 1, 2009 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 87 years, 5 months and 1 day.



She is survived by 2 daughters, Dorothy Lynne Holt and her husband Billy of Clifton, Tennessee and Mary Jo Connell and her husband Donald of Sharon, Tennessee



one son, William E. Roberts and his wife Suzanne of Collinwood, Tennessee



7 grandchildren, Mike, Mark and Myles Holt, Jimmy Roberts, Libby Card, Stephanie Evans and Dustin Connell



17 great-grandchildren, Kelley Holt Ivey, Terra Holt, Makenzi Holt, William Holt, Jon-Nathan Holt, Peyton Holt, Marigrace Holt, Madison Holt, Alex Thrasher, Andy Thrasher, Hannah Roberts, Lauren Roberts, Nathan Roberts, Laney Evans, Elston Evans, Elsie Connell and Noah Connell



one great-great-grandchild, Jett Ivey



2 sisters, Edith Walker of Savannah, Tennessee and Virginia Jo Bennett of Knoxville, Tennessee
