Dorothy Strickland

Dorothy Strickland departed this life on Monday, June 13, 2016, at the age of 92 years, 4 months, 11 days. She was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on February 2, 1924, the daughter of the late Lon and Fay Brasher Gant. On April 15, 1950, she was united in marriage to R.E. Strickland, who preceded her in death on June 3, 2010.
Dorothy was self-employed as a farmer.
She is survived by her brother, Lon Gant, Jr. of Savannah, Tennessee; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Elmer Gant and Tom Gant; sisters, Betty Arnold and Francis Gravett.
Dorothy was self-employed as a farmer.
