Dorothy Suffling

Dorothy Sufflingwas born in Memphis, Tennessee on May 8, 1916 the daughter of the late Raymond and Pauline Carver Skipworth.On October 12, 1940 she was united in marriage to Ernest Robert Suffling, who preceded her in death on October 10, 1993.Mrs. Suffling was a member of the Writers Guild in Cherokee, Alabama. She had also lived in Snowlake, Mississippi.Mrs. Suffling departed this life on Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at the age of 93 years, 7 months, 1 day.She is survived by 2 sons, David Neil Suffling of Alberquerqe, New Mexico and Mark L. Suffling of Counce, Tennessee; 4 grandchildren, Laurie Erb, Michelle Brackin, Miles Suffling, and Nicholas Robinson; 2 great-grandchildren, Augustine Pena and Roman Brackin.In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Robert Paul Suffling; a sister, Virginia Kroll.
