Dorothy J. Tatumwas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on January 15, 1927 the daughter of the late Robert L. Stephens and Earline Jordan.She was united in marriage to James L. Tatum.Mrs. Tatum worked for Attorney E.W. and Mrs. Catherine Ross as a personal companion. She attended Love Tabernacle Church of God in Christ where she was a member of the Mother\'s Board of the church, worked in the ministry of HELPS. She loved to read, witnessing the word of God and cook.Mrs. Tatum departed this life on Friday, March 29, 2012 at the age of 85 years, 2 months, 14 days.She is survived by 2 daughters, Patricia Knox of Cleveland, Ohio; Dyann Tatum of Savannah, Tennessee; 1 son, Mitchell Tatum of Nashville, Tennessee; 4 sisters, Martha Hawkins of Paducah, Kentucky; Barbara Flowers and Doris Horton both of Cleveland, Ohio; Mattie Kendall of Dallas, Georgia; 3 brothers, Theodore Stephens of Gary, Indiana; Roger Stephens and Mark Stephens both of Maryville, Indiana; 13 Grandchildren and 15 Great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Micheal L. Tatum; 2 sisters Maxine Dixon and Annie Jo Hubbard; 1 brother Robert Lee Stephens.
