Dorthy Lavaun (Dot) Childers Counce departed this life on Thursday, February 28, 2013, at the age of 80 years, 1 month, 26 days.Dorthy was born in Hardin County, Tennessee the daughter of the late Noah and Lola Booker Childers. She was a member of the Ellendale United Methodist Church in Bartlett, Tennessee.Ms. Counce is survived by her sons, Hal Counce and wife Deanne, Hank Counce and wife Lynn all of Bartlett, Tennessee; grandchildren, Amber Counce, Leslie Cruz and Daniel Counce all of Bartlett, Tennessee; great grandchildren, Daniel Rooker, Lucas Cruz and John Cruz.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Johnny Counce; sister, Thelma Childers Flatt; brothers, Theron, Duel, C.B. and Truman Childers.
