Dottie Sue Evans

Dottie Sue Evans was born December 29, 1944 in Selmer, TN the daughter of the late James Marlin and Ruby Hickman Price. She graduated from Selmer High School in 1962.

She was united in marriage to Lewis Evans on October 1, 1965. Mr. Evans preceded her in death on June 30, 2005.

Mrs. Evans retired from Harwood Manufacturing after 25 years of service. She was a member of the Piney Grove Church of God and attended Calvary Baptist Church over the last couple of years since her move to Adamsville. She was a wonderful, humble, and Christ loving lady that met everyone with a smile and a kind word.

Mrs. Evans departed this life on February 23, 2017 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 72 Years, 1 Month, 25 Days. She is survived by a son, Jeff Evans of Selmer, TN; a sister, Mary Sue Simmons of Adamsville, TN; a grandson, Matthew Cole and wife Whitney; a greatt-granddaughter, Gracie Mae Cole; niece, Amy Oakley and husband Matthew; great nieces, Emma Faith and Caroline Elaina Oakley.
