Douglas Dewayne Copeland

Douglas Dewayne Copeland was born on July 12, 1946 in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, the son of the late George Raymond and Helen Long Copeland.

On September 19, 1964, he was united in marriage to Nancy Olsen, who survives.

Mr. Copeland worked for C&C Construction and was a member of the Lions Club in Wisconsin. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, riding on the pontoon boat, and spending time with his friends and family.

Douglas Dewayne Copeland departed this life on December 14, 2025 in Savannah, Tennessee, at the age of 79 years, 5 months, and 2 days.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Nancy Copeland of Savannah, Tennessee; son, Harvey Copeland of Savannah, Tennessee; daughter, Jamie Herdman of Raytown, Missouri; sister, Tanna Begolke of Wisconsin; 7 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Douglas was preceded in death by his son, Joshua Copeland and 6 siblings.
